“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? Or who hath stretched the line upon it?”
Job 38:4-5
If you have watched when a house or any other structure is being built, you would notice that the foundation is the first thing the builders begin with. When God confronted Job in our opening verse with these questions, He revealed Himself as the Master Builder; the One who measured, planned, and laid the very foundations of the universe with wisdom beyond human comprehension.
Creation was not a work of chance. The mountains, seas, skies, and stars were all set in place by divine precision. This same God who set boundaries for the oceans and ordered the paths of the constellations is the One who holds your life. You are not the product of accidents or random events; you are part of a carefully designed plan by the Master Builder.
When life feels uncertain, remember that the foundation of your life rests not on shifting sand but on the eternal Rock. Trusting the Master Builder means surrendering your blueprints and allowing Him to build according to His design. You don’t have to go through turbulent times alone, with God as your foundation, you remain unshakeable. Just rely solely on Him.
Charge: Trust the divine plan of the Master Builder, even when you do not understand it.
