“Then the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the gallows because he laid his hand upon the Jews.”
Esther 8:7
Many times in life, we’re in situations where it seems like God is quiet and we’re all by ourselves. In those times, what the devil wants from us is to give up and ignore all that God has ever done for us. He wants us to be ungrateful. But today’s Scripture tells us of the sovereign power of God.
If you read the book of Esther, you will understand better the story behind our opening verse. Esther, in all sense, didn’t deserve to be in that royal position because of her background. But God bypassed all protocols for her. When Haman decided to distress Esther and her people because of his high position and favour from the king, God took charge of the situation.
All the plans of Haman were used against him by the same people he concocted it against. If you rely on God and submit all totality to Him, He will take charge of your situation. He will turn everything around for your good and promote you where you’ve been demoted.
Charge: Allow God to take control, and He will fight your battle beyond your expectations.
