God’s wisdom is needed by believers to thrive in their respective fields and remain consistently relevant in an ever-changing world like ours. We have been blessed with all spiritual blessings from above by the Lord; but today, we are learning the need to desire God’s wisdom.
The Scripture says, “Blessed is the one who finds wisdom,” which means that as believers, we should consistently desire to seek and find God’s wisdom. The one who finds wisdom is called blessed because everything needed to enjoy God’s blessings can only be revealed to a wise believer. The Scriptures give a vivid description of God’s wisdom as wonderfully complete, having a value that exceeds all ong life, and recognition.
A good Biblical example of Jesus’ parable of the wise and foolish virgins shows how important it is to desire God’s wisdom for both earthly and kingdom relevance. The amazing thing about God’s wisdom is that anyone who needs it and asks the Lord will receive it because He gives generously to all without finding fault. We can desire God’s wisdom by studying the Scriptures about it, praying, and confessing by faith.
Charge: Wisdom is more profitable and yields better than gold.
