“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”

Romans 8:15.

Adoption is an act of God’s will, and it is through Christ’s sacrifice that we are invited into His family. The Bible says we have received the Spirit of God whereby we can cry ‘Abba Father’.

Through the work of the Holy Spirit, believers are brought into a new relationship with God as His sons and daughters. We are no longer strangers but rather joint heirs with Christ.

This adoption is not based on our merit but on God’s grace. As adopted children that we are, we have been called to share in the inheritance of God’s Kingdom. The Spirit of Adoption is the confidence we have, knowing that we are accepted and loved.

Charge: Let us embrace this glorious truth of adoption and be secure in His love.
