HIS STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN YOUR WEAKNESS

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

Apostle Paul received this wonderful revelation during a time of his personal struggle. The scripture revealed how God had responded to Paul’s plea for the removal of a specific challenge he was undergoing. “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness,” was our Lord’s response to him. This not only strengthened Paul, but also offers a powerful reminder to us—that in our moments of weakness, God’s grace and strength are abundantly available to us.

This was later evident in numerous other passages throughout the Bible. For instance, in Philippians Chapter 4, Paul emphasizes that he can do all things through Christ who strengthens him, emphasizing the source of true strength. This should also be our position at all times. Additionally, in 2 Corinthians 3:5, he acknowledges that our sufficiency comes from God.

Furthermore, the book of Isaiah declares that God gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless, emphasizing that divine empowerment is available to those in need. Therefore, God’s grace and strength in times of weakness serves as a continual source of hope and assurance for believers when trials and challenges come.

Charge: God’s strength is always available for you.
