“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.” –
Colossians 3:23-24
One key theme that is repeated throughout scripture is that God desires us to approach our tasks for Him with a willing heart. He calls us to do everything wholeheartedly, with the mindset that we are serving Him, not men. And in doing so, we are reminded that our rewards come from Him.
Be faithful, dear child of God. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your heart. Be faithful.
God is watching you. He sees how you handle the smaller tasks. He observes the dedication you put forth, even when no one else is watching. Remember that Jesus said that no one would entrust the mighty things of the Kingdom to one who has been unfaithful with lesser things (Luke 16:11).
The Lord examines how you handle everything. So, let faithfulness be our watchword.
