“A man’s gift maketh room for him and bringeth him before great men.”
Proverb 18:16
We all remember the story of Joseph, a man blessed with the extraordinary gift of dreaming and interpretation. Joseph didn’t hide his gift; instead, he used it to serve and help others. Over time, this gift brought him before kings, elevating him to a position of great influence and authority. Like Joseph, each of us has been given a unique gift that distinguishes us from others.
These gifts are not mere talents; they are divine blessings bestowed upon us by God, intended to be nurtured and shared. Our gifts are meant to bring light into the lives of others, to inspire, uplift, and create positive change in the world around us.
When we choose to embrace and cultivate our gifts, they naturally begin to attract opportunities and people of significance. Just as Joseph’s gift led him to find favour with the king, our gifts have the potential to open doors that we never imagined possible.
Charge: Never hide your gift; nurture it, establish it, and it will attract men of value.
