“For there is hope of a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that the tender branch thereof will not cease.”
Job 14:7
There’s always hope: For every valley, there’s a mountain. For every storm that we pass through, the sun will shine. For every broken heart, there’s a mending.
Though the voice of doubt says things would not get better, but by faith we know that our trials won’t last forever.
It’s amazing to note that at midnight, a brand new day begins; however, it still looks as dark and scary as nights can be. This is because it’s always darkest before dawn.
Dearly beloved, this day’s devotional serves as a reminder that there’s always hope for you in every season of your life; pleasant or painful. When all hope seems lost, we should trust that God is still able to cause our bruised lives to bud again. (Ecclesiastes 7:8, Ezekiel 36:11, Job 8: 7).
The scriptures is replete with people who came to what felt like their wit’s end; but as they prayed, God ended their captivity, turning their mourning into dancing with jubilant song.
Dare to call upon the Lord, today. He’s still the same. You, too, will testify. (Isaiah 40: 31, Jeremiah 33:3.)
Thought for the day: Don’t give up. There is hope for you.
