“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
Romans 15:13
As believers, we have access to so many things because God is a God that keeps on giving. Hence, our access to beautiful things is endless. God meant it when He said that all things are possible. However, humans sometimes don’t have the right mind to appropriate these gifts.
One of the blessings we’ve been given in this Kingdom is peace—the one that passes all understanding and allows us to rest while others fret. Certain things that seem targeted to steal our joy and take our peace might currently be happening. But as children of God, we have the provision of the Holy Spirit that gives us peace amid the storm. Therefore, we should engage it to the fullest as it has been made available to us for our every need.
Say this prayer with me.
“Lord, I am fretful and disorganised, and I am not even sure what to do at certain times. But Lord, your word says to hand over all my burdens to you because you care for me, and your word also says my hope in you is never for nought. I acknowledge this, Lord, and thank you for making this precious assurance and peace available to me. Precious Holy Spirit, according to the Word that says a peace that passes all understanding is available in Christ, I ask for that peace to permeate my soul, spirit, and mind. I choose this day to walk in absolute trust that you’ve got this covered, and I refuse to fret. Thank you, Lord, for this precious peace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen”
