“And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

1 Corinthians 2:4-5

“This is the day the Lord has made!” he exclaimed as he dressed. With his Bible in one hand and a megaphone in the other, he stepped out of his house, chanting with conviction, believing he’s got all he took to win souls: “1,000 souls for Christ!” He trekked nearly seven miles until he reached a bustling marketplace. There, he set up his megaphone and began to preach passionately. For four long hours he proclaimed, his voice echoing through the crowd. At last, he asked if anyone wished to surrender their lives to Christ. But silence answered him—no one responded.

Just then, he noticed people rushing toward another spot. Curious, he followed, only to find another preacher declaring Christ with power. When the man called for salvation prayers, men and women poured forward in great numbers, kneeling and crying out for mercy.

Brother Glory’s heart sank with disappointment. Yet, summoning courage, he approached the preacher. The man of God gently encouraged him: “I do not rely on my wisdom or human strategies. I simply yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit, who manifests His power in every message.”

Charge: Beloved, only those who are led by the Spirit are the sons of God.
