“And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.”
1 Samuel 15:26
Rejection rarely begins with rebellion; it begins with small compromises. King Saul did not openly deny God. He partially obeyed. He adjusted the command. He kept what God said destroy. Then he justified it. But partial obedience is still disobedience.
The danger today is not always loud rebellion—it is quiet resistance. God’s Word is not a suggestion; it is authority. When we reshape it to fit convenience, we step out of alignment. Alignment is what sustains calling, favour, and spiritual authority.
The question is not, do you know the Word? Instead, is your life reflecting it? Before rejection becomes public, compromise is always private. Do away with excuses, pride, and selective obedience.
Charge: Let His word be a searchlight in your heart, and allow it to expose every area where your lifestyle contradicts His Word.
