“He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.”

1 Samuel 2:9

There is a quiet confidence that comes from knowing God is the One keeping you. Life is full of unseen battles—spiritual opposition, human envy, silent plots, and sudden dangers. Yet Scripture assures us that those who belong to the Lord are not walking alone or unguarded.

Notice the contrast in the verse: the saints are kept, while the wicked are silenced in darkness. This reminds us that victory is not by human strength, strategy, or connections. No matter how powerful opposition may appear, it cannot override divine covering.

That is why you should do away with things that take you out of His coverage. And you cannot do away with these things by your own power. Stay under His banner. Remember, when God keeps you, resistance loses its voice.

Charge: Our security is not in how strong we are, but in how faithful God is.
