“I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.”

Man’s greatest hindrance is often not external forces but an unrenewed mindset that distorts truth. The human mind is powerful, it shapes perception, decisions, and destiny. Mindset is the lens through which we interpret life and what we believe shapes our reality. A rigid or fearful mindset can hinder spiritual growth and enslave even when freedom is available.

A wrong mindset creates unnecessary conflicts among believers. God tried to correct Peter’s mindset about the Gentiles when he saw a vision of a vessel containing all sorts of animals, reptiles, and birds. He was instructed to kill and eat, but refused, saying they were common and unclean. A voice responded saying, “Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.”

The call is to examine your mindset: are your limitations self-imposed or rooted in God’s truth? We live free in Christ by refusing to let wrong perceptions hinder our spiritual liberty. Believers should respect others’ consciences by not judging those who see things differently and walking in love.

Charge: A renewed mindset aligns with God’s word, removing hindrances and opening the way for growth.
