“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace, there shall be no end… The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”

Isaiah 9:6-7

Deborah held onto a promise God gave her in university—that she would start a charity that would help thousands. But years passed, life shifted, and nothing seemed to happen. Sometimes, she wondered if she heard God wrongly.

One afternoon, during Bible study, she stumbled across Isaiah’s prophecy: “For unto us a child is born…” A prophecy spoken centuries before Jesus arrived, yet it came to pass exactly as God said. Tears filled her eyes. “If God fulfilled this one,” she thought, “He will fulfil mine too.”

That same month, someone sponsored her dream with the exact amount she needed to begin. One step led to another, and today her charity feeds hundreds weekly. God’s words do not expire. His prophecies are not empty promises. Just as Christ came in the fullness of time, so your promise will manifest.

Charge: Hold that prophecy He has given you. Believe it. Pray over it. It will come to pass.
