“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”

John 6:37

One of the most reassuring truths in Scripture is this: Jesus never turns away anyone who comes to Him. He does not screen your past, weigh your mistakes, or examine your qualifications like we would have done. His arms remain always open.

Think of the prodigal son in Luke 15. After wasting everything, rehearsing his apology, and dragging his shame homeward, he expected rejection or punishment. Instead, we saw something breathtaking: a father running toward him, embracing him, and restoring him. Before the son could finish his speech, love had already spoken.

Jesus wants you to know that this is His posture toward you. He is not hesitant or reluctant. He does not roll His eyes at your weakness or your repeated struggles. When you take even a small step toward Him, either through prayer, repentance, worship, or surrender, He meets you with a welcome that is guaranteed and overflowing. You may be feeling unworthy, distant, or unsure of where you stand with God. Hear Jesus’ promise again: “…and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”

Charge: Come boldly. Come honestly. Come as you are.
