“According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my Spirit remaineth among you.”

Haggai 2:5a

The Word of God is not bound by time. Long after human promises fade and circumstances change, the Word of the Lord stands firm. When God spoke to His people through Haggai, He reminded them that His covenant and His Spirit still remained with them—just as He had promised generations earlier. What He said in the past was still active and alive in their present.

This truth reveals the unchanging nature of God. His words do not expire; they endure forever. Just as salmon faithfully return to the exact stream where they were born, guided by an internal compass, so God’s Word and Spirit always bring His people back to His intended path. When He promises to guide, protect, or bless you, those words are sealed by His unchanging character. Seasons may shift, people may disappoint, and situations may look uncertain, but the Word of God remains steadfast and sure.

To walk in victory, you must anchor your heart to what God has spoken, not to what your eyes see. His Word is the foundation of faith and the guarantee of His faithfulness. Every prophecy, every promise, and every declaration from His mouth carries the life and power to accomplish what He intends.

Charge: If God said it, He will surely do it as long as you are in alignment with Him.
