“And I will strengthen them in the Lord; and they shall walk up and down in His name, saith the Lord.”
Zechariah 10:12
A chef once worked for a wealthy man who practised occult rituals. Every previous chef had either gone mad or died mysteriously, never leaving the house whole. As his own employment drew to an end, his employer hosted a gathering of his occult circle, and in the stillness of the night, the cry of a baby pierced the air.
Fear kept him awake throughout the meeting, yet he whispered the Lord’s name until the crying ceased. At dawn, his employer abruptly ordered him to leave, calling him a disturbance. Grateful and shaken, he became the first chef to walk out of that house sane and alive.
There is power in the name of the Lord. His name is a refuge, a banner, and the believer’s strength. When we face battles, storms, or demonic opposition, we do not fight for victory but from victory. The cross settled it all, and in the name of Jesus, we overcome.
Charge: Stand tall today, not in your own might, but in His unfailing strength. Let His name be your banner and your song of triumph. For in His name, you are more than a conqueror.
