“Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”

Revelation 12:12

Time is one of God’s greatest gifts to man, yet it is also one of the most limited. The devil knows his time is short, so he works with urgency, pouring out his wrath to destroy lives, families, and destinies. Sadly, many believers treat time carelessly, procrastinating in prayer, holiness, obedience, and service to God.

If Satan can move with urgency to carry out his evil agenda, how much more should God’s children be diligent in doing His will! We are called to redeem the time, because the days are evil. Every day wasted in delay gives the enemy more room to sow destruction.

Therefore, the time to act is now! Not tomorrow. Not in the future, but now! If you must repent, do it now. If you must forgive, do it now. If you must evangelise, do it now. If you must serve, do it now. Tomorrow is not promised. Heaven rejoices at urgency in obedience, but earth groans when men delay.

Charge: The Lord is coming soon, and His reward is with Him. Let us live with eternity in view, making every moment count for Christ.
