“So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work.”
Nehemiah 4:6
When Nehemiah set out to rebuild Jerusalem’s wall, the task seemed impossible. The people were weary, the ruins were overwhelming, and opposition was fierce. Yet, in the midst of these challenges, something powerful happened—they worked together. Their unity became the secret weapon that turned broken stones into a fortified wall.
There’s a story of a group of farmers who tried pulling a heavy cart individually but failed. When they joined their ropes together and pulled as one, the cart moved effortlessly. That’s the power of unity. It multiplies strength and turns struggle into progress.
Unity in the body of Christ is not just agreement; it is alignment of purpose under God’s direction. When we share one heart, one vision, and one faith, nothing the enemy does can stop the work. Today, if the Church, families, and groups would embrace unity like Nehemiah’s builders, we would rebuild broken walls in our spiritual, emotional, and national life with divine speed.
Charge: Division drains power, but unity releases grace.
