“And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.”
Leviticus 26:12
Loneliness is one of the most subtle weapons the enemy uses to weaken our faith. Yet, the Word of God stands as a sure promise for every believer. From the beginning, God’s desire has been fellowship with His people. He does not remain distant, but assures us, “I will walk among you.”
The presence of God is not bound to buildings or places. It abides with His children everywhere; at home, at work, in the valley of sorrow, and on the mountain of joy. His Spirit dwells within us, guiding, comforting, and strengthening.
This companionship is not a casual presence; it is a covenant. He is our God, and we are His people. That means His watchful eyes never leave us, His hands are ready to uphold us, and His heart is committed to our good. In Jesus Christ, this promise finds its fullness, for He is “Emmanuel, God with us.”
Charge: Relax in His promises. God is with us at all times.
