“For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.”
Malachi 2:16
Faithfulness as a virtue is the heartbeat of God’s nature. God calls His people to a higher standard: faithfulness till the end. Malachi 2:16 isn’t just about marriage; it’s a call to covenant integrity in every area of life — our relationships, our walk with God, our assignments, and our promises.
God Himself models unwavering faithfulness. Even when we falter, He remains steadfast. He desires that we mirror this in our commitments; not out of duty, but from a heart that reveres Him.
Being faithful doesn’t mean it’s always easy. There will be challenging times that test us. But those who stay the course with God and with people reap a harvest of honour, legacy, and deep joy.
Charge: Faithfulness matters to God, and He rewards it.
