“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
Romans 8:18
Have you ever seen anyone who loves going through hard times? Most likely not. But you must have seen lots of people, including yourself, happy going through beautiful times. The Christian walk is similar. The only thing is that , despite the persecution and victory it will bring, we have an assurance of an even better offer when He comes in His full glory.
Dearly beloved of Christ, it is okay to feel tired. It is okay to feel dejected and disappointed. Remember, even Jesus felt this way the night He was arrested. He prayed and asked the Father to let the cup pass over Him, but He still wanted the will of the Father to be done.
He paid the price and afterward received an eternal crown of glory that does not fade. Today, He is sitting at the right hand of the Father. Beloved, do not faint. Do not give up. Your suffering for Christ is worth it for the glory that shall be revealed in you in due time.
Charge: Your present suffering for His name’s sake is worth it. Be of good cheer!
