“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
John 5:24
The freedom of the believer is very different from political or social freedom. It is spiritual and brought about by the presence of grace. As believers, our freedom isn’t earned; it’s received through faith in Christ.
Our Father in Heaven doesn’t offer partial freedom; He gives complete liberation—freedom from guilt, shame, and eternal separation. When we believe in Him, we cross an invisible yet eternal line: from death into life, from judgment into peace, and from fear into sonship.
This freedom is not about doing whatever we want, but being able to do what pleases God. True freedom is not about running away from God, but running toward Him. We are no longer slaves to sin or public opinion, because Christ has broken the chains.
Charge: You are not condemned. You are not bound. You are free.
