“But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality.”

2 Corinthians 8:14

Mutual support involves a two-way flow of help. It’s not just one person supporting another; rather, it’s a dynamic where everyone contributes and benefits.

We are familiar with the generosity of our Master, Jesus Christ. He gave us His all without holding back, and we are beneficiaries of this loving grace. Likewise, we are expected to support other believers in things that we have.

The beauty of mutual support is that it strengthens relationships between the people involved. When people feel supported, they are more likely to take risks, pursue goals, and overcome challenges, leading to personal growth. As children of God, we are blessed not only for ourselves, but to be a blessing to others.

Charge: Dearly beloved, be committed to supporting others. When we support each other, it creates a ripple effect, positively impacting not only our own lives but also the lives of those around us.
