“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”

John 10:9

Many modern residential buildings have more than one entrance. Typically, there are two access points: the main door, which is usually located in the living room, and another door leading to the kitchen. In our opening passage, our Lord Jesus Christ made a resounding statement: “I am the door.” He is not just a door; rather, He is the door that leads to true salvation and spiritual satisfaction.

To “enter” through Christ is to place your faith in Him, accept His sacrifice, and surrender your life to His lordship. We cannot save ourselves by good deeds, religious efforts, or personal strength. It is a gift offered through the door—Jesus Himself.

When you enter, He saves. He doesn’t just offer you forgiveness, but also protection, purpose, pasture—a place of rest, nourishment, and growth for your soul.

Charge: Have you entered through the door? Don’t delay. The Good Shepherd is waiting.
