“And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson’s wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father’s house with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so?”

Judges 14:15

Your relationships shape your life and influence your spiritual growth. The story of Samson and his wife serves as a reminder of how wrong associations can lead to betrayal and harm. God cares deeply about the relationships we nurture because they impact our walk with Him and our purpose.

The Bible warns us that, “Evil communication corrupts good manners” (1 Corinthians 15:33). As believers, we must carefully evaluate the people we associate with, ensuring they align with God’s values and encourage us to grow in faith. Surround yourself with individuals who share your love for God and who inspire righteousness.

Jesus showed us the importance of prayerful selection in relationships by choosing His disciples intentionally. In the same way, be sensitive and discerning about your associations. Let your relationships be rooted in your love for God and guided by His wisdom.

Confession: I am blessed with the spirit of discernment and wisdom. My relationships glorify God and align with His purpose for my life.
