“The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.”

Proverbs 11:3

Among the core values that every human needs to possess is integrity. It is the ability to stay true and see through strong moral principles and adhere to them even when it’s hard. Over time, there’s been a moral decadence in our community and the world at large. This resulted from the lifting of guiding principles in a bid to attain presumed freedom. Well, of course, this has failed to give true joy and freedom, contrary to how the devil makes living carelessly look in our generation.

A validation we’d need that upholding highly strong morals is ethical is found in our Scripture reading for today. You cannot choose to be without core values like integrity, for the Scriptures say, “The integrity of the righteous shall guide him.” Building up one’s faith demands learning moral ethics; it is the oil that keeps us living and moving.

We could face oppression while upholding our beliefs and convictions, and enmity may substantially increase because we refuse to shift ground and break principles. Our profit may be denied, and certain opportunities may never come because the people of the world could count us undeserving, yet it is clear that we are threading the right path.

Charge: Be bold and firm. Do not allow anything/anyone make you shift your right stance. One day, it will definitely pay off.

Have a beautiful weekend.
