It is the last day of the year, and we must admit that God is faithful. He is the God that fights our battles even before we are aware of any war. He is the God who strengthens us even before we realise there is a need for more strength.
God is good, merciful, and marvellous. There is nothing He cannot do, and nothing He will not do to ensure that His children are saved, safe, and whole. He deserves our praise, adoration, and our all.
On this day, as we reflect on the entrance of a new year, and all that happened within the year, let us shift our minds to rest on the goodness and beauty of the Lord. For our Lord is good, and His mercies endureth forever; therefore, praise Him with everything in you. Praise Him until everyone around you and even your soul understand that you have a great God indeed.
Charge: Take today to praise the Lord for all He has done and all He will do.
