“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”
Romans 5:5
There is one thing I can absolutely guarantee because the word of God says so. And it is this: “You will not end up ashamed. God will not fail you.” There are moments of trials that come our way and make us think that God isn’t there. But, in His word—He has said He will never leave us nor forsake us, and that’s something that’s worth holding on to.
In difficult times, remind yourself that God is right there with you, and He doesn’t fail. When it seems like all hope is lost, remind yourself that God does not lie. His words declare that “you will not end up ashamed”. Trust in Him completely.
Instead of worrying, tarry in the Word and in prayer to obtain His promises. Allow His peace to wash over you. Cry out to Him for help. And, know this—He comes through. In His perfect time, He will answer—hold on to him and trust in him.
Charge: You can lean on God. He’s got everlasting arms that do not fail.
