“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
Often, we rely on life experience so as a guide for making decisions and avoiding regrets. However, we cannot ignore God’s instruction to refrain from trusting solely in our own judgment.
We must learn to trust the Lord with all our hearts and not try to figure out everything on our own. Only God sees the end from the beginning, so we should not assume we’re wise or experienced enough to make decisions without consulting Him.
Beloved, listen to God’s voice in all you do and everywhere you go. Allow Him to lead you, for only He can keep you on the right path. David, a great warrior, sought God’s counsel before going into battle, even after defeating Goliath. If he could seek God’s will, how much more should we?
May the Lord help us to seek His guidance in all we do. Amen.
Confession: Where He leads me, I will follow. I’ll go with Him all the way.
