“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”
Romans 14:12
God has equipped us with everything needed to live a life that reflects His holiness, blesses others, and bears fruit according to His purpose. Like the servants in the parable of the talents, each of us will one day give an account of how we used the gifts, opportunities, and grace we received.
As Christians, let us live with awareness of all we’ve been entrusted with through God’s grace. We should be diligent not to take that grace for granted or to live without purpose. Remember, “to whom much is given, much is expected.”
There is no greater gift than the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. The grace that flows from that act of love is precious. Let us honor it by living our lives intentionally and in alignment with God’s calling. When the time comes to give an account, what will yours reveal?
Charge: We are the righteousness of God in Christ! Let us live in a way that reflects this truth.
