MAINTAINING A PURE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

“And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”

Ephesians 4:30

A relationship with the Holy Spirit is one of the most vital connections we can cultivate in our entire existence. Maintaining not just any relationship, but a pure one with the Holy Spirit requires intentionality and commitment—and while God is always committed, the question is: “Are you committed to having a pure relationship with the Holy Spirit?”

If your answer is yes, there are a few foundational actions you must begin to take intentionally. The first is to constantly recognize and acknowledge the Holy Spirit. As simple as it may seem, this conscious acknowledgment is the bedrock of any relationship with Him. It reminds us that the Holy Spirit is not just another friend; He is unparalleled and deserves reverence. This revelation leads you on the path of cultivating a pure relationship with Him.

Another aspect to be mindful of is grieving the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has emotions, and one of the key ways we grieve Him is by failing to live peacefully, holy, and harmoniously with others. Remember, how you treat others directly impacts your relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Confession: I receive grace not to grieve the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name.

Have a blessed weekend
