“Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.”
Isaiah 26:4
Strength is not just physical but also spiritual. It involves courage, patience, and faith. As much as we need our physical strength to carry out day-to-day activities, we need greater spiritual strength to enjoy ease everyday. Although some people derive strength in mundane things that can never sustain them, every child of God must know that their ultimate source of strength is “God”.
As believers, we walk through the ordeals of each day joyfully because we have been strengthened by the Lord. Beloved, we do not need to be overwhelmed by the current situations or occurrences encountered each day. Drawing strength from God daily at His presence helps us experience resounding testimonies.
When we walk with the Lord in the light of His word, we get encouraged and strengthened to overcome life’s challenges. Whenever we appear before God in prayer, word study, communion, fellowship, or worship, we continually grow stronger. Brethren, those who know their God shall be strong and do exploits. May the Lord renew our strength daily at His presence in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Confession: I draw strength from God—my ultimate source today.
