” For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.”
Proverbs 3:26
Beloved, do you know that by strength shall no man prevail? Our strength will always fail, men will always disappoint, and those earthly possessions will eventually fade away. We cannot afford to put our confidence in any other asides God. This scripture verse explains better: “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust the name of Yahweh our God” (Psalms 20: 7).
Do you often ask why you need to find confidence in God? He is always right there with you to keep you safe and sound. He is always by your side and will not let you fall into a trap. You can be sure that the Lord will protect you from harm.
How can we find confidence in God? We can find confidence in God through careful study, meditation and confession of the His Word. We can also build our confidence in God by rejoicing and praying without ceasing through the help of the Holy Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). We can also develop a consistency in trusting God always by not forsaking the gathering of the saints and dwelling together in unity (Hebrews 10:25). May the Lord help us to find confidence in Him in Jesus’ name. Amen.
