Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.”

Psalm 103:22

There are times when you must command your soul to bless the Lord. It’s essential to intentionally recall all His benefits and remember the times He made a way for you in the wilderness of challenges. Sometimes, you need to call your soul to order, saying, “Do you not remember the Lord’s mercies? Do you not recall how He delivered you from that hopeless situation? Why then are you worried now?”

This is a moment for Christians to stop passively accepting circumstances as they come. Instead, choose to enforce the realities made possible in Christ. It is entirely possible to reach a place where your soul consistently recognizes God’s goodness in every situation—even the most difficult ones.

Take this as a call to action. It is time for a fresh start. It’s time to set aside your worries and focus your strength on praising the Lord. Direct your thoughts to the greatness of your Father, reflect on His promises, and recall His mighty deeds. As your soul begins to rise, bless the Lord with your mouth and your whole being!

Charge: Blessing the Lord should not be dependent on any circumstance. It is something that must be done at all times, regardless of the situation.
