“He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.”
Ecclesiastes 11:4
We are familiar with this reiterated statement: “A little drop of water makes a mighty ocean”. People often say this to encourage and remind themselves of the importance of consistency. We can also learn a different meaning from this statement: you don’t need to have all it takes to do great things, but that which you have is enough to achieve greatness.
God in His benevolence has blessed us with all that is required to attain greatness in our specific field of purpose. We have been called by God to fulfil divine purpose here on earth and equipped to excel in this calling. Have you heeded God’s call for your life? Or are you still waiting to have everything before you heed God’s call?
Beloved, the call of God requires haste and you shouldn’t wait till all is set before you do the needful—obeying God’s call for your life. Life shows up in different phases and seasons, we must not waste time waiting to have it all before heeding God’s instruction to us. May the Lord bless us with understanding in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Charge: Do not give a chance for slothfulness or procrastination. Do the needful while you still have the time!
