“All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.”

Psalm 119:86

The reason why we have so much confidence in God is because He is faithful. The dictionary defines the word “faithful” as “trustworthy, dependable.” You can only trust, rely on, and depend on a faithful person—one who is true to his promises.

God and His Word are one; you can’t separate them. God’s Word is Spirit and life. His integrity is wrapped up in His Word, and He cannot deny who He is. That was why when He made a promise to Abraham, He couldn’t swear by anyone greater, but by Himself. He cannot and will never fail.
God’s word is so infallible; hence, you must believe His words like a child.

We read in the book of Hebrews that His words are living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword. If He said it, hold on to it; it will surely come to pass. “Then the Lord said to me, ‘You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it’.” Jeremiah 1:12 ESV

Heaven and Earth will pass, but God’s Word will never pass away. Depend on God’s word for your life.

Charge: Trust God at all times. His Word is more dependable than the air we breathe.
