“Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.”
Colossians 4:6
Words are like raw eggs, once broken, they can never be made whole again. As believers, we should know that the power of life and death lies in our tongue. We can confess life and also profess death using our tongue.
We should be watchful of the words we uttered at people in various circumstances. The words of our mouth should be to glorify God. It should soothe the hurting soul, encourage the discourage and heal the broken.
Your words are powerful. There is live therein. Use it positively. When you allow the Holy Spirit to direct your speech, you will look like the only one who speaks well because He will season your words with salt which makes it pleasant to the ears and enriching to the mind.
Confession: I speak life in every situation. No matter my situation, I speak with grace. My words become life and do great things in my life and other’s.
