LEARNING THROUGH EVERY EXPERIENCE

“I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.”
Philippians 4:12
In Philippians 4:12, Apostle Paul try to share all different experiences he had had in life and how he had lived through all of them with the help of Christ as seen in verse 13 of same chapter.
Paul shared also how he learnt through all of the things he experienced, by the power of the Holy Spirit, when he was hungry, when he was full, when he had nothing and when he had plenty.
Today’s devotion admonishes us on our responses and attitude towards different experiences that we go through in our Christian walk and even life generally. That we should learn to trust God through every circumstance and learn from every situation we find ourselves.
Surely, there is always something to learn in every phase of our life and situation, so we must trust God to be sensitive to never miss the salient lessons.
It is also important to find contentment in God all the time. May the Lord help us to trust Him in every situation. Amen.
