“In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:”
Genesis 15:18
The obedience of Abraham led to God making him a promise that transcended his existence. If we are also willing and obedient, our offspring and their generation shall benefit from our obedience.
Even when the children of Israel erred, the convenant God made with Abraham due to his obedience still remained firm. The question now is what heritage do you want to leave behind for your children? Curses or blessings from God.
Obedience is the key to access God’s covenant.
