Proverbs 12:19
According to the scriptures, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and Truth.” John 4:24 Who is the Truth? “Jesus saith unto him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.'”John 14:6. From this scripture, we know that Jesus is the Truth.
Are we living for the truth? Today’s scriptures serve as a call to all believers on the need to hold on to the truth that lives forever. Jesus is the truth and He lived a truthful life while on earth. As a representative of Jesus in this world of deceit, we are expected to live up to God’s standard of truthfulness. We are eternity-conscious believers, so our lives must reflect God’s character – one of which is the Truth.
God has placed us in various fields of life to stand as pillars of the truth. “But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” John 3:21. May the Lord fill us with the Spirit of Truth to help us live a truthful life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
