Nehemiah 4:20
A vivid example of today’s scripture can be illustrated in the way God defended the people of Israel and defeated their enemies.
The thoughts of the Israelites brought great fear upon the nations which shows the greatness of God’s power performing wonders in the lives of God’s people. Today, the devil has unleashed evil means to attack the faith of believers, especially in all areas of life. People are experiencing deterioration in health, finances, spiritual life, and standard of living. Only those who know their God shall be strong and do exploits.
Who fights for you? God the Jehovah Nissi: Our defender, Helper, Strong deliverer, Man of war, and Rock of Refuge. We can always seek His help when confronted with the battles or storms of life. We can call upon the name of Jesus and be saved from our enemies. Jesus knows that in this life, we will face tribulations but he encouraged us to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world.
As you study today’s devotional, the Lord will fight for you and give you victory on all sides in Jesus’ name. Amen
