“And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.”

Dear Christian, are you the reason the Word is of no effect in your life? Do you ever wonder why people who sit under the same pastor, hearing the same powerful message have different fruits?
Imagine hearing a message on consecration, and immediately after, your friends call to tell you of the latest party in town, your social media timeline feeds you with the latest hangouts, latest dresses, and the lifestyle of the world, and you fall for them all. And then shortly after that, you plug your ears with songs that tell you how you must appear a certain way if you must be desired.
Do you know that the little desire to be holy after the message on consecration will just evaporate like you never heard it? And you become empty like you never heard the Word. However, Sunday after Sunday, you fulfill your part of going to church.
Dear brethren, God and mammon cannot co-exist. God is calling us to a place of absolute consecration to Himself. To that place where you do not drink both dirty and clean water. It is impossible to find God in a place of mixtures. You must come out, and be separate – feeding yourself on only that which edifies.
