There are different types of love; Agape, eros, philia and so on. Agape love is a sacrificial love, unconditional, and selfless love. This is the only type of love that can be associated with God’s love for humanity. It is the reckless love of God for man. If God can so much love us to give us His only begotten son (John 3:16), what more do you think He will withhold from us?
God’s type of love is a giving one. A type of love that selflessly gives and has been available for all mankind and will be effective for those who believe in the birth, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. Won’t you reach out to that love today? Perhaps you feel that because He hasn’t answered some of your prayers, then He doesn’t love or care about you, that’s untrue. God does everything perfectly for us.
He has choosen to love you despite your faults and shortcomings. If He could give the His own dearest one and only Son to die for our sins, despite being sinless, what is that thing that is so big that He won’t do. This kind of love can only be expressed by God. Or could you love your brother so much that you lay down your life for him? Even a mother sometimes forgets about her child, but God will never forget you.

Thoughts for the day: Come to Jesus today. Don’t withhold your life from Him. He is waiting for you, and no matter your sins, God loves you.
