“If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”
1 Peter 4:11
As believers, our goal should be to glorify God in all in we do – in our conversations, actions, behaviors and so on.
We are the oracles of God. Oracle here means a person such as a priest through whom the deity is supposed to respond with prophecy or advice. We are the mouth piece of God through whom He speaks.
As His oracles we must understand that we are only permitted to do as He instructs. We are only a vessel, we should do all things to get God glorified. Whatever we do that does not bring God the glory is not acceptable unto God.
