“Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.“
Revelation 3:2
The scriptural verse for today was written to the church in Sardis, to warn the people of God about their imperfect works before God.
God speaks directly to us today through His word, to be watchful of our spiritual life and to strengthen our inner man against eternal death. This is a warning to the church to wake up and strengthen what remains, as we have become spiritually dead, despite having a reputation for being alive.
This is a call to action for us all to be watchful and to strengthen the things that remain. It is a reminder that we as Christians haven’t reached perfection before God, yet. It also implies that the we have become complacent and need to take action to revive our spiritual life.
Dear Christian, the whole essence of today’s message is to identify areas where we need to make changes. It is a reminder that we need to work on ourselves to become better as God’s people. The end is near, and we have little time to make things right. So, let’s starts this instant because our end can come any time from now.
