“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
Habakkuk 2:3
God does not fail. He just never does.
There’s something we must understand about the character of God: if He gives you a word, He esteems that word above His name (Psalm 138:2). This means that come what may, a word that comes forth from God must surely come to pass. It is we human that fail to follow diligently and patiently.
Added to this, one of God’s heart desires for His children is that they trust and rejoice. That’s why if He lays a vision on your heart, it will be fulfilled as long as you keep following and obeying Him.
Let us therefore add patience to fellowship with God. Patience does a work of making things perfect at the appropriate time. So, let us wait. Let us trust Him. Let us understand that His heart yearns to bless us abundantly. He will fulfill His promise, and you will testify to His goodness. So, wait, dear Christian; upon the Lord.
