YOU ARE A GREAT FATHER

“The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice, and he who begets a wise child shall have joy in him.” Proverbs 23:24

Today’s message is dedicated to honoring and celebrating our dear fathers, who tirelessly strive to provide spiritual, financial, emotional, psychological, and material nourishment for their families.

Often, the efforts of these fathers go unnoticed due to ingrained misconceptions and outdated mindsets. Society has perpetuated the belief that male children are solely responsible for providing for the family, while girls are confined to traditional roles like cooking and childbearing.

This mindset has caused more harm than good, not only to adult males burdened with high expectations but also to girls raised with limited aspirations. Fathers have been working tirelessly to meet countless demands, facing discouraging economic circumstances, and, in some cases, succumbing to depression. Unfortunately, they receive little encouragement or support from those around them.

We want you to know that your efforts are greatly appreciated. Your wives and children recognize the sacrifices you make each day. We pray that God reward your hard work and grant you peace of mind in all your endeavors.

Remember, you are not alone in carrying these burdens. God can shoulder them for you. In His loving arms, you are just another cherished child. By surrendering everything to Him, He will guide you through any challenges you may face.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, You are the ultimate example of a great Father to us all. I pray for Your guidance in becoming a great father and husband to my wife and children. As a mother and wife, help me to be a supportive partner and a source of strength for my husband. As a child, help me to honor and cherish my parents. Amen.
