“That the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.”

Philimeon 1:6

As much as we are called to preach the gospel of Christ with words, there is also a higher calling for believers to live out that call with their lives. It’s careless to get men saved and then live your life as you please.

The message must first be embodied in you. As you speak, men must see the result of the power you are preaching of. In the way you speak, in the heart you have, in your love for God and man, your life must be proof of the message you carry.

Don’t be a Christian that is satisfied with communicating a faith he has not experienced. Don’t be that Christian that is okay with not seeing the fruits of what the Bible promises in their life. Yearn for more. Yearn to be made an embodiment of the message you carry which is the transformative power of Christ.

Prayer

Lord, please help me to never be comfortable and satisfied with telling people what to do when I cannot do it myself. Help me to not settle for only knowing the word but never living it.

  1. Important message! After we must have preached the gospel we should not be a castaway.
