“Cast your cares on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.”
Psalms 55:22
So many Christians today worry about what may never happen to them. Some bother about death whenever they fall sick. Some people worry so much about the state they are in, but the word of God is telling us today to cast our cares upon Him.
Everything might be impossible for us as humans, but nothing is impossible for God. Jesus proved this to be true when He was on earth. There was no miracle He didn’t perform. As He was teaching, He was also performing great wonders.
This should assure us that Jesus can do all things. “And Jesus looking upon them saith, with men, it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” Mark 10:27. To God, worrying is a sin because it shows we are of little faith and do not trust Him—Matt. 6:26-30. Why now compound the problem at hand rather than handing it over to God?
God can change your situation in the twinkling of an eye. God can transform your life without any hassle; “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” Jer. 29:11.
How do you cast your cares upon Him?
> Acknowledge that only He can solve your problem.
> Surrender to Him and confess your sins.
> Pour out your heart to Him without holding anything back.
> Trust Him with your worries; believe He will do what He promises and will never fail you.
Finally, Brethren, the Lord is calling you today. Man can only provide solutions that might fail, but God can never fail.
